A House Full of History
Some places tell stories – this one is full of them. Once home to the prestigious Cotta publishing house and the university printing press, these walls saw the printing of works by great minds such as Hegel, Hölderlin, Schelling, and Hesse. Schiller’s Wallenstein and the very first daily newspaper of Tübingen were also printed here. Around 1894, court decorator Haag gave the guest rooms their distinctive flair with elaborate wall paintings. Today, this heritage-listed building is a place of hospitality – rich in character, history, and atmosphere.
